[ July 4, 2009; 3:00 pm; ] You’ll find fireworks, food and games at the 4th of July festivities at Turtle Bay Resort on O‘ahu’s North Shore. This old-fashioned Independence Day celebration takes place on the west lawn of the resort and is open to the public. Festivities start around 3 pm.

From 2 to 9 pm on July 4, 2009, Maunalua Bay Beach Park in Hawai‘i Kai celebrates Independence Day with continuous entertainment, food, free keiki ID and face painting plus other activities. Headlining the entertainment is Maunalua and a spectacular fireworks show at 8 p.m. caps off the night.

On July 4, 2009, the town of Kailua will celebrate Independence Day with a parade and fireworks display. Parade at 10 a.m. starting at Kainalu Elementary School and continuing on Kainalu to Kailua District Park. Featuring marching bands, veterans from the armed forces, clowns and more fun.
