Free Aloha Shorts Taping – 8/1/10

On Sunday, August 1, 2010 at 6:45 pm, it’s the next taping of Aloha Shorts at Hawaii Public Radio’s Atherton Studio (738 Kaheka St. in Honolulu).

And it’s free. Reservations strongly recommended. Call during station business hours 955-8821. Reservations are held til 6:50 pm only; waiting list seated at that time, if possible.

Attend and hear Bamboo Ridge poetry and prose about Women’s Work, Dirty Jobs, and Work Then and Now, by:

Lee Cataluna, Eric Chock, Sheila Gardiner, Mavis Hara, Gail N. Harada, Juliet S. Kono, Wing Tek Lum, Merle M. Nishida, Elmer Omar Pizo, Amy Uyematsu, Lois-Ann Yamanaka, and Beryl Allene Young.

It will be performed by Dennis Chun, Meredith Desha Enos, Krisha Fairchild, Blossom Lam Hoffman, Stephanie Kong, Dave Lancaster, and Devon Nekoba.
