Free First Friday, Tonight – 6/4

It’s first Friday, so that means it’s time for First Friday! First Friday Honolulu Art Gallery Walk is tonight, June 4, 2010 from 5 pm to 9 pm (with after hour activities until 2:00 am). Get to the Downtown/Chinatown area and visit the galleries and merchants who open their doors and present an impressive array of exhibits and events. Want to know what’s going on tonight? HIGHLIGHTS AND NEWS

•    Live from the Lawn @ Hawaii State Art Museum (6:00pm to 9:00pm): “Aerial Romance” aerial dancing from Samadhi Hawaii, a Jazz Trio led by virtuoso Jeff Peterson, with Steve Jones and Von Baron and more. NEW exhibition! – Hi‘iakaikapoliopele: Visual Stories by Contemporary Native Hawaiian Artists. Kapala, Guy Cruz, Family Dinner and so much more…
