On Saturday, February 13, 2010, from 1 to 3 p.m., Ho‘ala School (at 1067A California Avenue in Wahiawa) will sponsor its first annual Literacy Fair & Open House. This event is free and open to the public. 

The literacy fair is geared for children from preschool through high school. Activities will include a drama performance by Ho‘ala high school students, reading activities, alphabet pancakes, storyteller Wally Amos, and more. Each child attending will receive a free book. 

Parents will also have an opportunity to receive more information on the Ho‘ala School’s program, visit classrooms and meet teachers during the event.
