The next talks in the Experts at the Palace 2010 23nd Annual Historic Preservation Lecture Series, which forcus on the Kalakaua Monarchy, are:
February 4, Neil Dukas on ”The Military Forces of King Kalakaua’s Reign”
February 11, Niklaus Schweizer on ”Kalakaua’s Foreign Policy”
and February 18, Nanette Napoleon on ”The Royal Mausoleum.”
They are always on Thursdays at 12 noon. Free admission to the talks at the Old Archives Building on the ‘Iolani Palace Grounds; bring a brown bag lunch. Limited parking is available on the Palace grounds.
