Get ready for Santa Claus! He arrives in Hawai‘i Kai, not by sled but via the waterways. The Festival of Lights Boat Parade will be held on Saturday, December 19, 2009. Starting at twilight (around 6pm), the parade of brightly decorated boats will traverse the marina waterways, finishing up in the Mariner’s Cove area (Kalanipuu Street near the Wailua Bridge). You’ll find great views of the boat parade from all three major shopping centers.

The Towne Center will offer entertainment by the Na Hoku Hanohano award winning group, Maunalua.
