With participants from Japan, California, Okinawa, the Netherlands, Mexico, India, and more, the World Invitational Hula Festival is truly international. Held at the Waikiki Shell, November 12-14, 2009, the event will feature – of course – hula, along with vendors of Hawaiian made products. Tickets for reserved seating range from $15- 35 for each day (with a discounted rate for a 3-day pass), but if you want to sit on the lawn, you’ll only pay $10. Gates open at 4 pm.
