Free Cold Stone Ice Cream – September 24
On September 24, 2009, Cold Stone Creamery hosts the “World’s Largest Ice Cream Social.” From 5:00 p.m.-8:00 pm, stop by for a free 3-oz. serving of Jack’s creation— ice cream mixed with brownie, sprinkles, and fudge. This event is a fundraiser for the Make-A-Wish foundation.
While the ice cream is free, if you’ve some spare change, consider donating. It’s a good cause.
I’m told by the folks at the Kalakaua Avenue Cold Stone Creamery that locations island-wide are participating in this event. Click here to find a location near you.
Thanks for the heads up, Cities On The Cheap!

Last year Cold Stone on Kalakaua would not give out the free ice cream samples unless each person made a donation. While I believe that people should be making donations anyways just for charity’s sake, I don’t appreciate being forced to make a donation for a so-called free ice cream soical. I’m not sure I would attend this year if they are still abiding by this practice.
HonoluluMom, thanks for sharing your experience. Verifying these deals is often the hardest part of publishing this site – we’ve had a number of situations where we’re told that a deal is good, only to hear from customers that it’s not being honored. We did verify this deal; I’ll be curious to hear how it goes.
