Independence Day at Maunalua Bay

God Bless America by DownTown Pictures

From 2 to 9 pm on July 4, 2009, Maunalua Bay Beach Park in Hawai‘i Kai celebrates Independence Day with continuous entertainment, food, free keiki ID and face painting plus other activities. Headlining the entertainment is Maunalua and a spectacular fireworks show at 8 p.m. caps off the night.

This is a community event and a green one, too! The Honolulu Boy Scouts will help with  recycling at the event and the pyrotechnic show, will be presented with 95-percent biodegradable fireworks. Head on over to their great website to read more about this Fourth of July event.
